Day 4: Part 1 Comes to a Close

We have reached the end of the first four days and the end of Phase 1, Part 1.  For the next three days of Phase 1, Part 2, we get nothing but green smoothies...WITH FRUIT!!!  I'm looking forward to it.  My Mom is especially looking forward to this.  She bought our fruit and the spinach to get us started.  I will be weighing in the morning and logging it into my Fitbit Flex.  I really like using the Fitbit Flex.  It has helped to motivate me to move, as it keeps track of your movements in "steps".  As of right now (I just checked), I have logged 7,080 "steps" today.  That means all my movements together equal 7,080 steps.  That's about 2.9 miles today.  And it monitors your sleep.  I have discovered that I am a restless sleeper.  I have long suspected that I move in my sleep.  I'm a very vivid dreamer and I think when I have a running dream that I may be moving physically as well.  Not running, but maybe flutter kicking or something similar.

My Mom has the clip on version.  She has a wrist band that it can be clipped onto.  You could also clip it to a belt or bra.  They are waterproof so they can be worn during any water activity, too.  That makes it nice if you swim for your exercise.  I think it's time I broke down and got a membership to a gym.  I'm thinking about Las Vegas Athletic Club as they have an area exclusively for woman.  They also have a large indoor pool for swimming laps and such.  That might be a good alternative for me with my knees.

That's all for today folks.  My brain is mush after the day (and especially afternoon) that I've had.  Flying solo and trying to get everything done.  Not a lot of fun.  Ah, well it makes me appreciate the good times all the more.

Have a blessed night and sweet dreams!

Tally ho!
